N.M. Hansen Machine & Tool Company was start in 1907 by Niels Hansen. It has a history of excellence that continues today with a 100 years of production, quality and service.  Hansen Machine and Tool has a history of supplying parts for military installation. Hansen supplied prisms used in sights for periscopes. Today, Hansen supplies jet engine components which are used in the Black Hawk helicopter and the B-1 Bomber. This all goes to show we have the knowledge, skill, capability and quality to produce precision machined parts.  Hansen produces quality parts for the glass industry with the production of delivery equipment. These are pieces which deliver the molten glass from the furnace to glass mold machines for making bottles, jars, glasses and other tableware.

Hansen Machine & Tool uses technology to achieve its edge in the market. We have utilized Lean Manufacturing techniques, cellular machine modules and machining centers to give us the competitive edge in production, quality and price.  Hansen is also a certified Hubzone with Small Business Administration.

Our management staff brings to the company a combined experience in engineering, production, and manufacturing of 75 years. Our President and CEO, Ron W. Clark prior to purchasing the company in 1988, he worked 25 years for the Champion Spark Plug Co. He served as head of Cold Form Engineering and his position prior to purchasing Hansen was Plant Manager of Champion’s Aviation division. Our Vice-President Roger Burditt worked for Champion Spark Plug as a member of the Engineering team.  Roger worked with new design development.
